AILET 2017 Application Form: Eligibility, Dates, How to Apply

National Law University will conduct the entrance exam of AILET 2017. It will be conducted in the month of May, 2017. It is conducted every year. The admission is offered in the programs of undergraduate and postgraduate.

AILET entrance exam give the admission in the following courses:

  • A. L.L.B. (HONS)
  • L.M.
  • D. Program

Last date for payment of AILET 2017 application April 15th, 2017 (Earlierthe date was April 7th, 2017)
Date of Examination May 7th, 2017

Eligibility Criteria for AILET 2017

  • For B. A. L.L.B. (HONS) (five year)
  • The candidate should have passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 system)
  • The candidate who are giving the board examination are also eligible to apply.
  • The age of the candidate must be below 20 years as on July 1st, 2017.
  • In the case of SC/ST Candidates, the maximum age of the candidate must be 22 years.
  • Total seats available are 80.
  • For L.L.M. (One year)
    • The candidate must have degree of L.L.B. or equivalent degree
    • The marks obtained in the degree mentioned above should be 55% in aggregate.
    • Total seats available are 35 + 5
    • Reservations for the L.L.M. are as follows:
      • Scheduled Caste: 15%
      • Scheduled Tribe: 7.5%
      • Persons with Disabilities: 3%
    • For Ph. D. Program
      • The candidate must have degree of L.L.M.
      • The marks obtained in the degree mentioned above should be 55% in aggregate.
      • In the case of Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/ Persons with Disability, the marks should be 50%.
      • Total seats available are 5.
