CMERI Recruitment 2016, CMERI means Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute. It is well recognize institute  for mechanical engineering. The organization comes under the CSIR (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research). Organization is established for advancement in mechanical technology engineering. It will minimize India’s dependency on foreign techniques in economic sectors. Institute is playing major role to bring Indian talent in international market. Products are developed by using manufacturing techniques and design at proper cost. New technologies are embedded such as Solid Modelling, 3D Scanning, Rapid Tooling and Rapid Prototyping. CMERI was established in February 1958 under the organization CSIR. The research areas are Micro System, Robotics, Mechatronics and Cybernetics. Office of CMERI is present in Durgapur City Center. CMERI has 26 national awards for quality products. In rural sector, small biodiesel plant is suitable for development.

 

CMERI Recruitment 2016-17

CMERI announces notice for recruitment of scientist posts. There are total four posts for this recruitment. Job is for permanent basis. Candidates will have to apply online for this post. Pay scale for this post is Rs.15,600-39,100 + GP Rs.6600. For applying, the student must download the application form.

Eligibility Criteria of CMERI Recruitment 2016-17

  • Applicants should not exceed the maximum age limit of 32 years as on 20th October 2016.
  • Age relaxation is on as per government rules.
  • Students must possess M.E./M.Tech or Ph.D in Chemistry. They have degree of M.E./M.Tech in field like Power Engg., Mechanical and Electronics & Instrumentation with B.E./B.Tech degree.

 

Last Date of Submission

The last date of online application for candidates is 20th October 2016 by 5:00 PM. Students must have to submit online application form with relevant documents. They should read all instructions carefully before filling any form. Applicants needs to fill all essential information. They should take print out of an application after registering themselves.  Students must attach self attested copies of documents. One self-sign passport size photograph is necessary. Above documents along with E-RECEIPT of an application fee must sent. An application fee of Rs.100 is to be send along with the application form. Therefore, an application form along with E-RECEIPT will be sent in an envelope on or before 31-10-2016 by 5:30 PM. The postal address is  already given on the website. Applicants should mention “Application for the post of ……Scientist————-“  on the top of envelop.

 

Selection Procedure

The student will get final selection on the behalf of an interview or written test. Aspirants having more experience will get interview call. All depend on qualifications of aspirants. So, they have to submit their all experience and qualification documents. Final interview will decide selection and make merit list. Screening would done before an interview. If any discrepancy would found then application will not considerable. Aspirants from out of station must get a second class rail fare for an interview. Number of vacancies may vary as per the requirement of the post. The authority must have right to cancel the candidature of non-eligible candidates.

The result of CMERI is declare on the basis of merit list of final round. Performance in final interview should decide the candidate selection. Applicants can see their results on official website. Competition is very tough as the number of vacancies is less. So, students must have to work hard for this exam. Higher experience if aspirant is more beneficial for the call.
